"Akhenaten, Pharaoh of Egypt, A New Study", Cyril Aldred, McGraw-Hill (1968).

A biography of Akhenaten which goes into the uncertainties and questions of his life and times. Dr. Aldred discusses in a lot of detail the mummy found in Tomb 55 and how he thought it was originally Akhenaten but the later study published in the Journal of Egyptology convinced him it was Smenkhara. Despite a lot of flip-flopping of the scientific evidence, people still seem to agree with this opinion.
