"The Skull and Cervical Spine Radiographs of Tutankhamen: A Critical Appraisal ", Richard S. Boyera, Ernst A. Rodina, Todd C. Greya, and R. C. Connolly, American Journal of Neuroradiology Volume 24, pp. 1142-1147, June-July 2003.

As the title says, the authors took a new look at the X-rays of Tut. Their conclusions was the evidence did not show he had been conked on the head. The skull thinning, for instance, was just a place where the skull was normally thing, plus the tilt of the skull during the X-ray.

On-line at http://www.ajnr.org/cgi/content/full/24/6/1142 with extremely high quality and high resolution images of the X-rays. A full .pdf article is available but naturally doesn't have the high resolution X-rays.
