Germanicus

This painting is of a cast of Germanicus, who was slated to be the Roman emperor after Tiberius. But since the guy obviously didn't know enough not to run around with no clothes on, it's no surprise he ended up dying before he had a chance to be in charge. So then Caligula got the nod.

While this was being painted a plain spoken no-nonsense young lady walked by. She stopped and looked at it. "Good," she said. "You made his buns nice and round."

The artist was shocked, shocked.
