Of course, they may also wonder why we even bother celebrating the composer of

1. The corniest and most boring songs in the world.
2. Some of the most offensive and distasteful lyrics ever penned.

So why is Stephen still considered a national treasure whose songs are sung, played, and recorded even by modern pop singers?
