The Wax Model - Mother Mold Removed
If all goes well and you've followed all the proper procedures, then you should be able to separate out the wax model from the mold. As is not too uncommon, you can see you have to trim bits and pieces of excess wax off - the amount here is more than you would have on a really well made mold. But for a sculpture of this size, that's not really much of a problem. This model was made of a hard casting wax which makes the demolding and trimming relatively easy.
