Alas, there was a slight problem in that the glaze flowed a bit too much (as you can see at the edges of the base) and so - as was warned in the previous work it fused part of the edge to the kiln floor. It wasn't enough to get the artist banned from the studio, but it did chip out a few places on the far side of the edge. Although they can't be repaired per se, some additional work on the base might mitigate the mishap.
