Emerald Toucanet
The Emerald Toucanet - Aulacorhynchus prasinus - is a small toucan whom experts can't quite decide where they live. Apparently the main habitat is from central Mexico and through Central America but the emerald toucanet is also listed as being native to Peru and Venezuela. But wherever they hail from, this particular boid was in the Philly Zoo at the McNeil Avian Center where you can walk in and see the birds - or rather the boids - fly about.
It should be pretty evident that this is a rendering in pastel.
